Lubavitch Concert to Benefit
Ann Arbor Chabad House

Fred Nederlander, chair-
man of this year's Lubavitch
concert, to be held 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 5 at Ford Auditorium,
has announced that a major
portion of the proceeds will
go towards the remodelling
of the Ann Arbor Chabad
House.
The concert will feature
Theodore Bikel, folk-singer
and raconteur and Jewish
activist. Also appearing are
the young Hasidic group
known as "The Moving Spir-
its," featuring dancer Mich-
o'el Tinman.
The Chabad House, lo-
cated at 715 Hill Street in
the central campus area of
the University of Michigan,
opened its doors for the 1975
fall semester. Daily classes
in Humash, Jewish law,
Hasidic philosophy, mysti-
cism and basic Judaism are

being given in the Chabad
House by Rabbi Aron Gold-
stein, Mrs. Esther Goldstein
and Rabbi Yitschok M. Lip-
szyc.
Presently under con-
struction is a completely
new heating and air-con-
ditioning system, a library
and reading room, chapel,
student lounge, a kosher
restaurant and an ultra-
modern mikve.
Nederlander is a major
supporter of the Allied Jew-
ish Campaign. His son
David, who has just re-
turned from Israel, heads
the youth division of the
concert — whose purpose is
to promote group ticket
sales in temples, syn-
agogues, religious schools,
high schools and colleges.

portation or tickets, call the
