The Israel Numismatic
Society of Michigan will
meet 8 p.m. Tuesday in the
Jewish Community Center
10 Mile branch. There will
be discussions on collecting
Israeli coins and medals.
On Nov. 11, the society
will hear Yitzhak Avni, di-
rector general of the Israel
Government Coins and Med-
als Corp., and Morris Bram,
president of American Is-
rael Numismatic Associa-
tion.
The meeting, to be held in
room 13 of the 10 Mile
branch, will feature discus-
sions and displays.

Marilyn Lois Maness be-
came the bride of Charles
Marc Shepherd in a recent
ceremony at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Rabbi Seymour
Rosenbloom officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Ma-
ness of Chatsford Circuit
Ave., Southfield. Parents of
the bridegrooz are Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Shepherd, for-
mer Detroiters of Encino,
Calif.
Leslie Schneider was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Shelley Golden, sister
of the bridegroom; Vera
Gell and Dianne Rosenfeld.

Donald Shepherd was
his brother's best man.
Ushers were Alan Maness,
brother of the bride; and
Richard Golden and Paul
Rosen.

The couple is living in
Southfield, following a Lon-
don, England, honeymoon.
