Kol Ami Plans Dedication, 10th Anniversary Events Temple Kol Ami will de- dicate its new sanctuary and celebrate its 10th anni- versary today through Oct. 18 in the temple. Founded in 1966 as the New Temple, the congrega- tion included eight families. The congregation has grown to 300 families. Rabbi Ernst Conrad, founding rabbi, continues to hold the pulpit. Prior to the building of its own sanctuary, the congregation shared a building with the Bir- mingham Unitarian Church in Bloomfield Hills. At 2:30 p.m. Sunday, there will be a convocation for the community. Rev. Robert Marshall of the Bir- mingham Unitarian Church will deliver the main ad- dress. Rabbi Moses Lehr- man, spiritual leader of Cong. Bnai Moshe, will re- cite a dedication prayer. A musical program will be rendered by the temple choir and Dr. Irving Fried- man, cantorial soloist and temple vice president. On Monday, a family din ner will be served at 6:3L p.m. with movies for the children following. On Tues- day at the first meeting of the duplicate bridge group will be held. At 8 p.m. Wednesday, there will be an open temple board meeting and at 8 p.m. Thursday, Bette Roth will present the opening session of a series on the Holocaust. A special dedication Oct. 17, will feature Dr. David S. Hachen, Cleveland director of the Northeast Great Lakes Region, Union of American Hebrew Congre- gations. A dinner-dance will conclude the week's activi- ties.
