THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Federation Plans Annual Meeting The Jewish Welfare of Detroit will hold its annual meeting Oct. 29, at Cong. Shaarey Zedek. Federation president Mandell L. Berman said the meeting will honor the United Jewish Charities, Federation's senior mem- ber, for its 75 years of serv- ice to the community. The Fred M.
