and the Jewish National
Fund after his death.
Cutler, 84, was formerly
in the wholesale watch busi-
ness, and has been a patron
of Adat Shalom Synagogue,
local Jewish organizations,
the Israeli schools and JNF.
The living trust will pro-
vide approximately 100
scholarships each year, ac-
cording to Cutler's adviser
Maurice Axelrod.
Axelrod said that Cu-
tler, his wife Minnie, and
son Joseph have also made
provisions in their wills
for these organizations.
Axelrod said Cutler came
to the U.S. as a poor immi-
grant, and peddled watches
and parts. He opened a
small shop, expanded. and
eventually went into the
wholesale business. He re-
tired 20 years ago and be-
came an investor.
