Center Workers
Plan Israel Parley

NEW YORK — A group
of professional personnel
from Jewish community
centers and camps across
the United States will parti-
cipate in a professional
workers seminar Sept. 8-29
in Israel to be conducted by
the National Jewish Wel-
fare Board with the cooper-
ation of the American Zion-
ist Youth Federation, and
the youth and hehalutz de-
partment of the World Zion-
ist Organization.
- The seminar is designed
as a major training experi-
ence to give its participants
a deeper insight into the
role of Israel in Jewish life
in America, as well as pro-
viding them with informa-
tion on Israel which they
can incorporate into their
center and camp program-
ming.
In addition to the activi-
ties planned for the group as
a whole, special "separate
track" programming is
planned to provide experi-
ences in each person's disci-
pline.
