uel of Curacao is searching
for S. Goldstein in Detroit
so that he or she may be
thanked for making a large
contribution to the syn-
agogue.
Leonard N. Simons, who
has been campaigning for
aid for the synagogue, said
that the bank from which
the contribution was sent
may have an incorrect mail-
ing address, which is caus-
ing thank-you letters from
the synagogue to be re-
turned marked "no such
address."
Simons urged the donor
to contact The Jewish News,
the synagogue, Cong. Mikve
Israel-Emanuel, Box 322,
Curacao, Netherlands An-

Commonwealth
Aids Arab Trade
The Bank of the Common-
wealth, whose major stock-
holder is Ghaith Pharaon of
Saudi Arabia, has estab-
lished a new service to help
Americans who want to do
business with the Arabs.
The new service will be
headed by Mansinh M. L-alji,
a native of Bombay and a
citizen of India, who is an
assistant vice president of
the bank. He will work un-
der the direction of Faiz K.
Faris, vice president in
charge of the international
department. Faris is a Le-
banese-born U.S. citizen.

Weil of Berkshire Dr., Bir-
mingham, announce the

ter Susan Jo Weil to Jerry
