New Oak Park Synagogue Building Near Completion Construction is nearing completion on the new sanc- tuary of Cong. Dovid Bent Nuchim at 14800 Lincoln, Oak Park. The synagogue was founded in 1947 by David Rott, and his son. Harry, has contributed to the new facility as the major bene- factor. Charles Wiener, president of the congregation, said the building will be completed in time for High Holy Day This, say our Torah scholars, is in a large measure, due to the laxity in the observance of the laws of Kashrus, both in the home and out- side. The meticulous observance of this Mitzva is of the utmost import- ance. A fund has been established to help defray the costs of anyone, throughout the entire world, who will change to a Kosher kitchen. Half of all these expenses will be reimbursed from the special Kashrus Fund upon receipt of a letter from the local Rabbi certifying that the kitchen has been Koshered and stating the amount of expenses incurred. This will, of course, be kept in utmost confidentiality.
