Michigan artist Max Shaye is shown with a new ser-
igraph painting "Cross Country" which has just been
delivered to the White House. The painting depicts a lone
skier silhouetted on a wintry scene of pine trees. The art-
ist's proof was dedicated "to President Ford who was
the inspiration for this painting." The President ac-
cepted the gift with a personal note to Shaye.
