Wolfe has been named executive director of the Jewish Home for Aged, announced JHA president David M. Miro. Wolfe, who succeeds Ira Sonnenblick, assumed his new duties last month. Wolfe has been a profes- sional communal worker in Detroit since 1966 when he accepted a position at the Jewish Community Center. He left the directorship of the Center's educational services program in 1970 to join the Home's administra- tive staff. Wolfe holds an MA and EdS (Educational Special- ist) degree from Eastern Michigan University and was a guest lecturer at EMU's Graduate School of Counseling from 1970-1974. Licensed as a social worker by the state of Michigan, he was recently elected to the Michigan Non-Profit Nursing Home Association's board of di- rectors. He takes charge of JHA's two locations which provide residency for the communi- ty's aged who require full care and medical attention.
