TORONTO (JTA) — A group of 59 Toronto doctors have sent a petition to the Canadian government con- demning the United Nations and urging that the Western democratic countries end their support to the world body. The petition also urged Canada's immediate with- drawal from UNESCO be- cause of its resolutions ex- cluding Israel from the European regional group. The petition criticized the UN General Assembly for allowing Yasir Arafat, head of the PLO to address it last November and for the exclu- sion of Israel from UNESCO.
