MIN]) Cancer Fund Cites Women for Efforts The Michigan Cancer Foundation has recognized the Detroit lodge of the United Order of True Sis- ters by placing a plaque in the lobby of the new Meyer L. Prentis Cancer Center which commemorates their continued service to the foundation. Representatives from the Detroit lodge met with Dr. Jerome P. Horwitz, chair- man of the MCF Depart- ment of Chemistry, who presented the plaque on be- half of the foundation. Mrs. Helen Pollak, lodge president, accepted the plaque for the more than 200 members. The women's group will make the third and final annual payment this fall on an ultra-high- speed centrifuge valued at nearly $9,000.
