Brith will celebrate its
100th anniversary Sunday
with a centennial dinner at
Grand Rapids' Hotel Pan-
tlind.
The affair drew consider-
able attention in the Grand
Rapids Press, which devoted
three pages May 25 to the
history of the organization,
Grand Rapids' Jewish com-
munity and the namesake of
the lodge.

Houseman Lodge 238 claims
250 men, of the estimated
550 Jews in Grand Rapids,
and Sunday's dinner is ex-
pected to attract most of the
city's Jewish community.
"The Japanese Jewish girl,"
Miriam Misakura, will be
the entertainer for the eve-
ning.
