Born in Russia, Mrs. Dun- ia-Weizmann came to pre- state Israel in 1906. She married \engineer Touvia Dunia, who together with Nahum Wilbush, estab- lished the first oil and soap making plant in Haifa in 1906. She established a music school in the early 1920s which later grew into the conservatory which bears her name. In the 1930s she helped immigrant musi- cians find work here and her house was open to visiting musicians from the whole world. Developer Ben Fenton, 78 Ben Fenton, a real estate investor and developer, died June 5 at age 78. Born in St. Louis, Mo., Mr. Fenton lived 60 years in Detroit. He was a 1919 grad- uate of the Detroit College of Law and held communal positions including: chair- man of the Detroit Fire Commission (1971-1974), commissioner of the Detroit Fire Department, board member of the Salvation Army and a member of the Detroit Chamber of Com- merce and Detroit Real Es- tate Board. He also was a member and former chairman of the Real Estate Division of the United Jewish Appeal, a member of Perfection Lodge of the Masons, the Oddfel- lows, Detroit Consistory- Moslem Temple, Crescent Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Bodies, City of Hope, Trot- ting Association of Amer- ica, Franklin Hills Country Club, Standard City Club, In Loving Memory of Our Dear Mother and Grand- mother LIBBY ROSENBERG Who passed away 16 years ago, June 16, 1959, 11 days in Sivan.
