The organization, Breira (Alternative), has sponsored advertisements which urge the Israeli government to adopt a four-point peace plan to break the current diplomatic deadlock in the Mideast. The plan's major points include: • Israel should declare that she has no expansion- ist ambitions whatsoever, and is prepared to give up the territories occupied in the 1967 war in return for recognition by the Arabs of its sovereignty and in- tegrity and a mutual un- dertaking by Arabs and Is- raelis to maintain peaceful relations; • Israel should express its willingness to start im- mediate negotiations to- ward a peace treaty; • Israel should have no objection to the establish- ment within the territories she shall evacuate on the West Bank and in Gaza of an independent Palestinian state provided that such a state recognize the sover- Temple Model For Further Information Call — Egypt Turns Down U.S. Land Offer NEW YORK — Egypt has decided against accepting property on the Nile worth about $1 million that had been offered by the United States as the site for a new mansion for President An- war Sadat, according to news sources. The land in the fashion- able Giza district had been acquired for a new ambas- sadorial residence and terms of the offer to Sadat specify that Egypt should provide an equivalent plot for a residence. A. U.S. embassy spokes- man said Egypt had changed its mind about the land offer but gave no rea- son. Buber Adult Education Center. The memorial meeting was attended by 300 persons including members of the Buber family and a large number of Hebrew Univer- sity faculty. The keynote speaker was Prof. Emeritus Ernst Si- mon, a close associate of Martin Buber, who talked on the legacy of the late scholar. Buber was one of the ear- liest protagonists of the idea of the Hebrew University, which this spring is cele- brating the 50th anniver- sary of its opening. `Tourism Crisis' TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Haim Ariel, administrative director of the Dan hotel chain, cites several reasons for the current "crisis in tourism": the security situa- tion, the high cost of air transport, and the economic recession in the United States. Only four percent of American Jews have so far visited the Jewish state. As far as non-Jewish tourists are concerned, the prices in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon are substantially lower than in Israel, Ariel said.
