The Mendelsons were married June 14, 1925 in To- ledo. They have two children and six grandchildren. Mr. Mendelson retired from the General Motors Corp. seven years ago. JVS to Have Annual Meeting The Jewish Vocational Service and Community Workshop will hold its an- nual meeting and employer awards presentation 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Shera- ton Cadillac Hotel. The awards are presented in recognition of outstand- ing assistance to JVS and CW in the employment of vocationally handicapped persons. Maksoud described him- self as a spokesman for the League of Arab States and said that the Arabs are in an adversary position with the Jewish community. During their stay in Israel, the Alperts had Friday eve- ning dinner with their rela- tives, Shimon Peres and his family at the Peres home. Among those attending the Bar Mitzva were Mesdames Shimon Peres and Gershon Peres.
