Summer means a little
experimentation with gela-
tin molds. Now that salmon
is down from its all-time
high price and a little more
accessible in the market,
let's try one using that fa-
vorite dish.

1 lb. can red salmon (flaked and
drained)
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin .
I pkg. lemon gelatin
P 2 cups choppedvegetables, con-
taining a mix of:
cucumbers
sweet onions
green peppers
dill pickles
3 4 cup cold water
3 4 oup boiling water
1 can sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
Dissolve lemon gelatin in boil-
'ing water. Soften unflavored gela-
=tin in cold water in a small pot and
,heat slowly until solution is clear.
-:Mix two gelatin solutions and
cool.
Add sour cream and mayon-
naise and mix well. Refrigerate
only until thick and syrupy. It
won't take long, so watch care-
fully. Add flaked, drained, red
salmon and finely chopped vegeta-
bles and pour into 12-cup mold.
Refrigerate until firm. Serve on
platter with lettuce, surrounded
by sliced tomatoes and black ol-
ives.

Nuclear Capability

PLO to Take Over
Israel Embassy
in Phnom Penh

TEL AVIV (JTA) — Prof.
Shimon Yiftach, director of
the Sorek Nuclear Research
Center, has predicted that
the Arab states will proba-
bly have nuclear capabilities
by the 1980s and some may
already have nuclear weap-
ons.
Yiftach said that al-
though the reactors bought
by Egypt and Saudi Arabia
recently are outmoded, they
would be able to produce
enough plutonium for
atomic weapons.

LONDON (JTA) — Cam-
bodia's Khmer Rouge gov-
ernment is planning to turn
over the premises of the for-
mer Israeli Embassy in
Phnom Penh to the Pales-
tine Liberation Organiza-
tion, it was reported by the
correspondent of the Italian
News Agency, Ansa.
The report said the PLO
was expected to move into
the building around Octo-
ber, setting up a mission
similar to the one it has in
Peking.
