The NCJW's 80-year his- tory will be outlined by Bea- trice Rowe. Susan Miller, public affairs vice president, will discuss the Section's adoption of a Soviet Jewish family and the group's con- tinuing efforts to free all who wish to emigrate. Reva Talon will focus on the Section's community service programs and Sonia Macey and Dorothy Kauf- man will discuss the ongo- ing Meals-on-Wheels pro- gram, which brings hot and cold meals to Jewish home-- bound. The NCJW thrift shops will be shown and Jessie Stern, president, will give a summary. `L'Chaim Movie Due on Channel 7 "L'Chaim — to Life!," an 80-minute documentary narrated by Eli Wallach and produced by Women's American ORT, will be pre- sented 3 p.m. Sunday on Channel 7. The documentary recalls a century of Jewish life in Russia and Poland, includ- ing shtetl life, pogroms, the Holocaust, the Warsaw Ghetto, displaced persons camps and the establish- ment of the state of Israel. The film won first prize in the 1974 American Film Warsaw to Clean Jewish Cemetery LONDON (JTA) — The Polish-Jewish Ex-Service- men's Association has learned that the Warsaw Club of Roman Catholic in- tellectuals volunteered to clear up the neglected his- toric Jewish cemetery of Gensza Street and is now doing so. Festival, and has received a CINE Golden Eagle Award and a sliver plaque at the Chicago Film Festival. Some photographs in the film were taken by noted photographer Roman Vish- niac.
