What Do These People Need?

4.

r

All The Help You Can Give Them.

The sixteen people pictured above are all officers of De-
troit's 1975 Allied Jewish Campaign-Israel Emergency Fund
which began this week.

They've been working hard for the past several miOnths,
organizing their Divisional workers and seeking advance
gifts to support the Campaign's nearly 50 humanitarian
beneficiaries.

And for the next three weeks, they'll be working even
harder to reach every one of the AJC-IEF contributors.

It's an especially crucial year for our Campaign. The
difficulties which our brothers gh Israel face as they rebuild
after the Yom Kippur War and in, the world's political arena
can be alleviated by our support, both financial and emo-
tional. If our support of them is strong, they in turn will

become stronger in the eyes of the world . .'. and in their
own eyes.
Rising costs here at home necessitate more money to
maintain our social services of health and welfare, refugee
resettlement, community relations, and education. And
somehow, we must find resources to expand those services
so that all who require them can be. helped.
What can you do?
IF YOU'RE A CAMPAIGN WORKER,. you can make a

concentrated effort to contact your prospects this month.
Tell them our Campaign story and solicit their best possible
gift.
IF YOU'RE A CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTOR, respond as
generously as you can when your Campaign worker calls.
We need your help . . . as do the lees fortunate Jews
here at home, in our nation, and overseas!
