"Transition '75,” a careers
conference for women in the
media or planning a career
in the media, will be held
8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. April 19 at
the McGregor Memorial
Conference Center on the
Wayne State University
campus.
There will be seminars in
advertising, public- rela-
tions, magazines, newspa-
pers, radio - television,
graphics, photojournalism,
corporate communications,
resume and interview tech-
niques, job re-entry or redi-
rection, teaching journalism
and free-lancing.
Keynote speaker will be
Anthony M. Franco of An-
thony M. Franco Associates
(public relations), and Hal
Youngblood, executive prod-
ucer of WJR radio, will be
luncheon guest speaker.
There is a charge.-

nual champagne donor
luncheon April 30 in the
synagogue.

A boutique booth will

Susan Raznik became the
bride of Lawrence W. Gor-
mezano in a recent cere-
mony at Cong. Bnai David.
Rabbis James Gordon and
Solomon Poupko and Can-
tor Hyman Adler officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Dr. and Mrs. Phillip Raz-
nik of Parsons Ave., South-
field. Parents of the bride-
groom are Mr. and Mrs.
Jacob Gormezano of Church
Ave., „Oak Park.

Carol Raznik was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Junior
bridesmaids were Jackie
Raznik, sister of the bride,
and Julie Callton.

Allan Gormezano was
his brother's best man.
Howard Greenstein was a
junior usher. Other at-
tendants were Ellen Gas-
pas, Marla Callton,
in Green, Joseph R,a-
nik, Dr. Arthur Rott, Dr.
Larry Platt, Erwin Weiss
and Herschel Saks.

The new Mrg. Gormezano
was graduated from Indi-
ana University's college of
optometry. Her husband
was graduated from Wayne
State University.

MISS MARGOLIS
Mr. and Mrs. Isidor Mar-
golis of Ypsilanti announce
the engagement of their
daughter Sara-beth to Sid-
ney K. Wizen of New York
City, son of the late Mrs. Sa-
die Schwartz and Mr. Sol
Wizen.
Miss Margolis earned a
BA degree in education
from Michigan State Uni-
versity where she was affi-
liated with the Alpha Epsi-
lon Phi Sorority, and an MA
degree in guidance from
Eastern Michigan Univer-
sity. Her fiance attended
Cooper Union College and
City College of New York.
A July wedding is
planned.
