tled in Israel and lived there
permanently since 1938.
Mr. Beilin who died in
1959, was serving as chief
of protocol for Israel's for-
eign 'ministry:

Prior to her appointment
as consul, Mrs. Beilin served
as liaison officer for the for-
eign ministry in connection
with the hundreds of for-
eign correspondents sta-
tioned in Israel to cover the
Eichmann trial. She also
received, on behalf of the
government, distinguished
visitors from the Americas,
the British Commonwealth,
Asia and Scandinavia.

Meanwhile a newly estab-
lished division of pension
and retirement programs in
the Israel Bond campaign
held its first meeting last
Friday.
The participants as-
sumed' an obligation to in-
volve their colleagues and
advise their clients on the
possibility of having Israel
Bonds in their investment
portfolio.
Participating.in the meet-
ing were Don Rundy, Mel
Weisz, Maurice Betman,
host; Rudolph Leitman, Ed
Gordon, David Bernstein,
Neal Werner, Harvey Brode,
Stu Goldsmith and Herb
Silverman.

The Sephardic Commu-
nity will hold its annual
spring cabaret night May 25

The concert will feature
Genia Hollander, flute; and
Matthew Mischakoff, gui-
tar. The program will in-
clude solos and duets com-
posed by Desportes,
Robinson, Byrd, Dowland,
Brouwer, Ritman, Diabelli,
Mozart, Debussy, Honeg-
ger, Handel and Hand.

The concert is sponsored
by the Friends of the Oak
Park Library. Coffee with
the artists will follow the
performance. Admission is
