The by-laws committee of
the Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation
will propoSe the following
recommendations - as
amendments to the divi-
sion's constitution and By-
laws to the membership at
the division annual meeting
May 21.
The recommendations,
published before the meet-
irig . as stipulated in the con-
stitution, allow for the in-
clusion of all former
presidents of the Women's
Division on the board of di-
rectors, increase the num-
ber of regularly-elected di-
rectors by two, and include
the immediate past division
president on the executive
committee.

Jewish organization to be
selected as one of eight
charter members of the
National Bicentennial Serv-
ice Alliance, "in recognition
of its outstanding programs
to further the commemora-
tion of the nation's Bicen-
tennial." .
These programs include
Memory Bank, an oral his-
tory of older members of the
Jewish community; co-spon-
sorship of the film strip
"Jews in America;" and
"Dolls for Democracy," a
project presenting the life
.stories of the great humani-
tarians of our time. In addi-
