C., Max Nosanchuk of Southfield, right, dedicated the Max and May Nosanchuk Forest near Kiryat Shemona, not far from the Israel-Lebanon border on his recent trip to Israel (his 10th). Some 33 friends and relatives of the Nosanchuks took part in the dedication. Shown at left with Nosanchuk is his cousin, Moshe Yarom of Tel Aviv. Nosanchuk, who originally planned the Forest near Je- rusalem, was advised by the Jewish National Fund of the great need for reforestation in the Golan Heights, due to the ravages of the Yom Kippur War.
