and the Child", the exhibit
pays particular attention to
the collaboration between
the composer Ravel
(1875-1937) and the libret-
tist Colette (1873-1954)
which resulted" in the lyric-
fantasy (opera) "L'enfant et
les sortileges" (The Child
and the Bewitchments) to
be performed at the concert.
Renowned Austrian pian-
ist Alfred Brendel makes
his Ford Auditorium debut
at Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra concerts 8:30 p.m.
