wonderful performance . . .
and was especially enthused
about Rochelle, of whom he
said, "She played so sensi-

LISTENING

POST

A MAGNIFICENT trib-

ute to the loyal hard work-.
ers of Children's Leukemia
Foundation of Michigan--
. . . was the scene of a filled
house at the Barbra Streis-
and premiere of "Funny.
.Lady' at the Northland
Theater . .. Almost 1,500
seats were occupied .. .
and about 500 patrons and
sponsors came back to the
Raleigh House for an after-
glow of hors d'oeuvres, free
flowing liquor and Mack
Pitt's fine band . . . It was a
heart-warming sight —. all
these people helping to
make things a little easier in
the research for a hopeful
cure someday . . . the un-
fortunate kiddies love them
for it.
JACK LEVITT left De-
troit back in 1953 for points
Westward . and renewed
old friendships while in
town recently to visit
mother, Rose Levitt . . .
Jack has been, fora years,
with Universal-MCA Pi _ c-
tures in Beverly Hills . . . a
location scout searching for
sites to be used in Movie
shots.
SO MANY people .. .
nice ones .. . so many re-
miniscences -. . . The won-
derful magic-of David Ci,
tron's Bar Mitzva reception
bringing together so many
friends in joyous harmony .
. . . Sorry we left out the
name of Marcia Masserman
in last week's column item
about the affair . Party
planner and coordinator .
Marcia did a fine job in
molding together the decor
and theme of magic which is
David's hobby.
