All types of strictly-kosher candy is available for the students at special low prices. Baruch Kelman who runs the canteen opens it during every free-period. The profits of the candy sales go to the yeshiva, and to other charitable organi- zations. In addition to our Hebrew studies, our Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Leib Bakst-, gives a special speech on ethics, commandments of humil- ity, the love for HaShem and getting along with other people. Sessions are given every two weeks - on a Tuesday to the students of Rabbi Lowe's and Rabbi Litwak's class. These speeches are usually given right after prayers. Harav Following Bakst's speech the stu-_ dents eat their breakfast. After breakfast the stu- dents go to their class- rooms and learn Gemara with their respective rab- bis. • The sixth grade English class , has displayed on the school bulletin board, arti- cles of people they inter • viewed. The purpose of the interviews is to teach the children how to take notes and how to use correct grammar. This-project was a tremendous success.
