Allied Campaign Divisions Enrolling
Volunteer Workers and Contributors

Trades and professions, women's and junior divisions of the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign-Israel Emergency Fund continued their pre-Campaign efforts this week and
planned functions for the weeks ahead to prepare for the Greater Detroit drive to be
conducted in April.
Division meetings are devoted to securing advance gifts and for the enrollment of
the thousands of volunteer workers who will solicit the more than 25,000 potential
contributors to the major fund-raising philanthropic task of Greater Detroit Jewry.

Jewish Campaign-Israel

Mr. and Mrs. Avern Cohn, second and third from

who contribute to the professional division of the 1975
Allied Jewish Campaign-Israel Emergency Fund.
Speaker for the United Jewish Appeal, the major benefi-
ciary of the.Campaign, was Hebrew University professor
Yehuda Bauer. Bauer, who heads the Institute for Con-
temporary Jewry and the department of Holocaust stud-
ies is in the country to participate in the first Interna-
tional Scholars Conference on "The Holocause — A Gen-
eration After" held in New York this week. Shown are,

8 p.m., at the Franklin
home of food division chair-
man, Bernard Weisberg and
Mrs. Weisberg.

A former Israeli Consul in
New York and General Con-
sul in Bombay, India, Mor-
ris is a spokesman for his
government, frequently in-
terpreting the country's pol-
icies on national television
and in the press.

He is the author of the
widely-acclaimed book,
"Master of the Desert — 6,-
000 Years in the Negev."

The evening meeting
will be attended by mem-
bers of the food division
and the professional divi-
sion's pharmacists and
pharmaceutical supplier
section, headed by Donald
Fox.

Assisting the chairmen
are Thomas I. Klein, food di-
vision co-chairman; Henry
Dorfman and Louis Green-
berg, food division associate
chairmen; Harold Haas,
