sidered a saint among his
American and Indian col-
leagues . "I know there
are no Jewish saints," he
writes, "but your son is con-
sidered one." . . . Larry
went to India four years ago
with wife Elaine . . direct
from interning in an Fran-
cisco, where he made his-
tory five years ago by deliv-
ering the first baby born at
Alcatraz when- the former
prison was taken over by In-
dians . . . Although money
means nothing to Larry, his
brother Barry, 26 is a quite
the opposite as a film maker
in San Francisco . . . Sylvia
sells jewelry at Rose Jewel-
ers in Northland . , . but
the finest jewels she has are
her two sons.

stein composed the work to
open the John F. Kennedy
Center for the Performing
Arts in Washington in 1972.

Pianist Recital

manian born piano virtuoso,

by Brahms, Sonata in Three
Movements by Stravinsky
and Sonatas in B-flat Major
by Schubert.
