right to leave this Soviet prison-

Instead a hard and hostile hand
dashed bread from my child's
lip.
My son toils beyond his strength

While the cry of "hooligan and

streets
Of this corrupted revolution.

Shall I despair? Submit?-Not I?
The day of the passive silent Jew
is gone.
In the enemy night I seek my
human stature.
In a hostile world I uphold my
human dignity.
Despite sorrow and suffering
the river of our humanity flows
on,
An infinite stream murmuring
our infinite dream beyond ty-
ranny's reach, beyond oblivion's
leech.
Give me your hand,
But do not mourn for me, your
brother,
Trapped in the Soviet night.
Our dawn leaps upon the hills
of hope.
New morrows heal old sorrows
As I sing my song of ended si-
lence.
We fight!
Ours is the right!

Coffee in a Jiffy
For tradition - conscious
Passover hostesses, the mod-
ern answer to instant coffee
is freeze - dried Maxim.
Maxim is pre-perked, then
frozen into big chunks of per-
colated coffee.
The freeze-drying process
carries fresh-brewed flavor
right to the table and requires
only boiling water.
