elected president of the
Greater Detroit Scrap Trade
Association at its annual elec-
tion meeting.
Other officers include Je-
rome Sipher and Joseph Ber-
ger, vice presidents; Herbert

Fealk and Jeffrey Dworin,
secretaries; and Ben Davis,
sergeant-at-arms.
Trustees are Jack Korn-

Progressive Aid Society Mon-

of the Israeli youth corps,
Gadna, will address a meet-
ing of the Jewish Community
Council board and committee
leaders 12:30 p.m. today at
the Butzel Memorial Build-
ing, 163 Madison. He will
speak on "Israeli Youth in
the Present Crisis." For in-

raeli Youth" 8:30 p.m. today
at the Labor Zionist Institute

Aktva to Honor Jewish Community Council Sets

Camp applications and de-
scriptive booklets for the
1975 camping season at
Camp Tamarack arc avail-
able from the Fresh Air So-
ciety office in the Jewish
Community Center.
The camp will offer 11 ma-
jor camping programs this
summer for youth, age 7-16.

Nearly 200 youngsters par-
ticipated in two Camp Tama-
rack winter weekends re-
cently. The weekends are de-
signed to provide an appre-
ciation of nature.
Highlights included craft-
ing havdala candles, picking
natural spices, creating Ha-
nuka food sculptures and sur-
vival hikes and tobogganing.
