Epstein focussed on the importance of campaign workers' goal to emphasize and promote understanding if the problems faced by Jews both in Israel and throughout the world. ' "If people fully understand the problems of world Jewry, representative gifts will fol- low," he said. Isaacs respond- ed with, "The Flint level of understanding and giving is one of the highest in the country.
