Israel Youth Corps Commander to Speak at Bnai Moshe Sunday

' Yeshaayahu Tadmor, chief
of the Israel youth corps
(Gadna), will address Cong.
Bnai Moshe 8 p.m. Sunday
at the synagogue, sponsored
by the Detroit Zionist Fed-
eration and the Jewish Com-
munity Council. He will speak
on "Israel—Illusicpns and Re-,
alities." The public is invited.
Tadmor will be in Detroit
through Jan. 26 as the fed-
eration's scholar-in-residence.
During his stay he will be
interviewed by Channel 2's
Vic Caputo 7 a.m. Wednes-
day and on J. P. McCarthy's
"Focus" show 12:15 p.m.
Wednesday on WJR.
On Monday he will address
the American Jewish Com-
mittee on "The Realities of
the Israel Situation — a Look
at the Internal Problems of
Israeli Society." For infor-

Tadmor will speak on
"Problems of Israeli Youth"
9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Sutton
'Place Apts. club house at an
open board meeting for Ha-
dassah. That evening at 8, he

Israel" at the synagogue.

The Detroit Zionist Federa-
tion board will host Tadmor
at an informal discussion

Wayne State University Hil-

Center Building. His topic
will be "Problems of Edgca-
lion, and Integration in Is-

Rabbi Joseph P. Sternstein,
president of the Zionist Or-
ganization of America, will
address the membership of
the Detroit District of the
ZOA 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at
the Zionist Cultural Center.
His topic will be, "The Mid-
dle East Crisis, U.S.-Israel
Relations, and the Role of
the ZOA."
Dr. Sternstein will report
on his meeting with President
Ford and Secretary Kissin-
ger in the White- House Dec.
20, with the group of Amer-
ican Jewish leaders of the
Presidents' Conference and

will analyze the results of
the disenssions.:
He will also report on the
emergency conference re-
cently held with Premier
Yitzhak Rabin in Israel and
outline the- political direction
of the Zionist Organization
of America.
Dr. Sternstein's visit, was
scheduled by the women's
auxiliary of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, whose donor
event he will address that
day.
He will also meet with the
leadership of the Detroit
District ZOA at a dinner at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
