to deal with Israel's current
and long-term economic
problems.
The conference will mark
the launching of a year-long
celebration in Israel and the
U.S. and Canada of the 25th
anniversary of the founding
of Israel Bonds.
Israeli government officials
who will take part in the
sessions include Prime MM-
ister Rabin, Foreign Minister
and Deputy Prime Minister
Yigal Anon, Finance Minis-
ter Yehoshua Rabinowitz and
Defense Minister S h i m o n
Peres.
The conference schedule in-
cludes the dedication of new
oil storage tanks and a re-
ception aboard a giant super-
tanker, a visit to the Timna
copper mines and survey
tours. The conference will
close with a dinner featuring
former Prime Minister Golda
Meir as guest speaker.
