Center to Sponsor Art Museum Tours
The Jewish Community
Center will sponsor a series
of tours to art exhibitions at
metropolitan area museums
beginning with a tour to the
Flint Art Museum leaving 9
a.m. Thursday from the Cen-
ter 10 Mile branch. Deanna
Sperka, artist-instructor, will
lead the tours.

Lincolnwood, Ill. Rabbi Oscar

The bride is the daughter

Weinman of Jeanette Ave.,
Southfield. Parents of the
bridegroom are the late Mr.
and Mrs. Jay Stern.
Vicky Weinman was her
sister's maid of honor. Bride-
maids were Karen Weinman,
sister of the bride, and
Elaine Stern. Jennifer Stern
was flower girl.
Frank Stern was his
brother's best man. Ushers
were Dr. Stuart Cohen of

Following a Florida honey-
moon, the couple will live in

fiancee, Lisa Helene Bloom, were in Omaha, Neb., recent-
ly visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Alvan M. Senal,
formerly of Detroit. A dinner at the Firehouse Dinner
Theater in Omaha was tendered the newly engaged!
couple by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sophir of Omaha.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Anbender of Southwood Dr., South-
field, were honored by their children Saturday at a party
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Spoon on the occasion
of their silver wedding anniversary. Guests included fam-
ily and friends.
Steven Allen Hirschberg, a Vietnam veteran, will be
honored with an aliya at Sabbath services 9 a.m. Saturday
at Cong. Beth Abraham-Hillel, prior to returning to service
in the Armed Forces. Hirschberg, who recently re-enlisted,
was a senior vice commander of the Lt. Eli Levin Post of
the Jewish War Veterans.
Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Harrison of Southfield Rd., South-
field, will be honored by family and friends on the occasion
of their 50th wedding anniversary. Born in Russia, the Har-
risons each came to the U.S. as children. They are active
in Adat Shalom Synagogue and in the Jewish National Fund.
Mrs. Harrison has long been involved in a project which
aids indigent Israelis. The Harrisons have two children,
Mrs. Samuel (Jean) Kaner and Alvin; and eight grand-
children.
