Registration to Open January 19
for Jewish Center Spring Classes

Registration for the spring
semester of classes at the
Jewish Community Center
will begin Jan. 19 at the Cen-
ter main building.
Members may register from
9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from
2 to 5 p.m. Non-members
may register during the after-
noon session.
A new program has been
developed for children age 4
and 5. The program includes
courses in creative dramatics,
music-art-drama, holiday hap-
penings and a new course,
Bees to Trees. The Parent-
Toddler program will be ex-
panded with the creation of
a Grandparent-Toddler class.
Among the art courses to be
offered is macrame. Persons
taking the course, taught by
Eileen Ross, will learn how
to make belts, purses, candle
holders, jewelry -and other
decorative items. Ceramics
will be offered for youth and
young adults, and will be
taught by Mr. and Mrs. David
Petrakovitz. Alex Hamilton
will teach sculpture, and -Ben
Glicker will give instruction
on oil painting.
Also included in the Center's
spring schedule is belly danc-
ing, taught by Genie Warren.

graceful. If Conservative
Jews were to build a syna-

point a finger and take them
to task.
