Josephine S. Weiner at a
special Sabbath service 8:30
p.m. Jan. 17 at Temple Beth
El.
Eleanor Marvin, national
president of NCJW, will be
in Detroit to participate in
the presentation ceremony.
The Hannah G. Solomon
Award is presented annually
to "a woman who helped to
change and expand the role
of other women in vital areas
of community life . . . and
whose leadership 'in areas of
Council concern—the quality
of life for children, the aged
and the disadvantaged — has
motivated others to fight for
change, and has resulted in
progress and enlightment in
the community."

autographed book from B a r-
bara Walters, a set of auto-
graphed pi c t u r e s from
Groucho Marx and a signed
football from the Detroit
Lions.
Prizes will be given, and
celebrity auctioneers will be
present. Tickets will be avail-
able at the door. For infor-
