"completely baseless."
Dinitz and Kissinger "didn't
even touch on the Middle
East or political subjects"
during the party.
The issue developed when
two Israeli reporters wired
stories back to Israel saying
that they has seen Kissinger
and Dinitz flailing their arms
during what appeared to be a
heated and angry discussion.
The reports concluded that
the two diplomats were argu-
ing about the next steps in
the Midle East peace negotia-
tions between I s r a el and
Egypt.
The U. S. State Depart-.
ment also denied the reports.

NEW YORK—Sam Brown
of Miami Beach has begun
a public campaign to have
the inscription on the "Isaiah
Wall" at the United Nations
suitably identified.
The wall is under the juris-
diction of the New York City
Parks, Recreation and Cul-
tural Affairs Administration
(PRCA).
He launched a personal,
6-month campaign through
bureaucratic red tape to have
an identification added to
the famous inscription:
"They shall beat their
swords into plowshares, and-
their spears into pruning
hooks; nation shall not lift
up swords against nation,
neither shall they learn war
anymore."
After a long series of let-
ters, telephone calls and per-
sonal visits, Brown finally
had one bureaucrat inform
him that if he would pay
the $650 cost the inscription
from Isaiah in the Bible
could be identified.
His latest correspondance
with the PRCA indicates that
the City Art Commission has
yet to approve the change,
and city funding for the pro-
ject may be unlikely because
of the city's financial prob-
lems.
Brown is now seeking a
public campaign of letters to

New York Mayor Abraham
Beame, the Art Commission
and the PRCA to reach a
quick, favorable decision on
identifying the Isaiah inscrip-
tion.
