NEW YORK (JTA)—The JeWish Child Care Associa- tion placed 22 children from hasidic families in family care programs, enabling mothers of such families to 'work - and provide income needed to raise the large families of such Jews. The day care program places the children in homes of other hasidic families, assuring the working parents that their children will be handled with full respect for hasidic traditions, according to -Mrs. Clara Horowitz, ad- ministrator of the program. Most of the Hasidic moth- ers enabled to work through the day care program are teachers in Orthodox schools.
