r) •N1 • I • Temple Israel Service to Honor Religious, Hebrew School Staffs 22—Friday, Dec. 20, 1974 Temple Israel will honor its religious and Hebrew school faculties at the congre- gation's annual s Teachers' Sabbath Eve Service at 8:30 p.m. today at the temple. Rabbi Daniel B. Syme, associate national director of the commission on Jewish education for the Union of American Hebrew Congrega- tions, will deliver the sermon. The original service to be presented was prepared by Cantor Arthur Asher, educa- tional director of Temple Is- rael. Faculty participants in- clude Mrs. Samuel W. Barr, Rita Abramson, Mrs. Daniel Arnold, David Asher, Barb- ara Berger, Rosalyn Berman, Saul Glosser, Audrey Lacoff and Harvey' Wechsler. Awards of honor based on length of service will be pre- sented to Harold Kutnick and Rochelle Lakin, 20 years; Students will conduct parts of the Sabbath service, and then will be invited to a re- union luncheon in their honor.
