Prejudices at UNESCO - Endanger U N' I' C EF;' New York Times' Wa'-ens

UNICEF is endangered be-
cause its name could be
confused with UNESCO which
i as been dragged into an out-
rageous status of anti-Semi-
tism and anti-Israelism by
the anti-Israel forces at last
week's sessions in Paris.
This warning was sounded
in an editorial in Sunday's
ition of the N.Y. Times.
The editorial was inspired by
a letter defending UNICEF.

of the Palestine Liberation
Organization, Israel was ex
eluded from UNESCO's regi-

receiving UNESCO aid.
But the people in all the
Arab states and indeed in
the underdeveloped and de-
