"Ice Cream is like wine
It ranges from the meanest
yin ordinaire to the
grand cru yield of the great chateaus."
New York Magazine

NEW YORK'S MOST TALKED ABOUT ICE CREAM COMES TO MICHIGAN

Haagen-Dazs is an ice cream that
originated in New York. And in
New York it is considered more
than an ice cream. Indeed it has
been labeled a "frozen immortal."
Haagen-Dazs is a Scan-
dinavian formulated ice
cream superior to any
ke cream available to-
day. Haagen-Dazs has
more egg yollks for rich-
ness as well as unusual
quality flavorings.
Haagen-Dazs is created
from the most flavorful
cocoa imported from
Holland.
Haagen-Dazs vanilla
has a voluptuously rich
flavor that could only be
gotten from the Mada-
gascan vanilla bean.
Rum raisin, a flavor so unique with
Haagen-Dazs, is made with rum
from the Carribean Islands and rai-
sins grown sunsweet in California.
Another reason for its richness is be-
cause there is less air whipped into
Haagen-Dazs. A gallon weighs 8
pounds compared to the usual 4.5
pounds of regular - ice cream.

.

Because it is an obviously expensive
ice cream, some say there is little
sense to the success of Hdagen-Dcizs.
As little sense as there is to expen-
sive hand turned wood chairs, hand
rubbed leathers, hand
loomed woolens. Yet,
those who are drawn
to what "art of the
senses" is left in life will
obviously be drawn to
Haagen-Dazs.
We believe that people
who knaw about ice
cream will welcome
Haagen-Dazs to Michi-
gan.
We invite you to try i 1. in
all of its remarkable rich-
ness: Vanilla, Chocolate, -
Coffee, Strawberry, Boy-
senberry Milk Shedint
and exotic Rum Raisin.
_ —
Haagen-Dazs is an all natural
cream . . with no artificial in. -
ents to disturb its inherent richries. --am•-_-_
Haagen-Dazs ... simply the worms
best ice cream.
