Women Plan Campaign Luncheon

Detroiter to Represent Bonds

at D.C. Graphic Arts Dinner

Curtis Binnbalough, presi-
dent of Local 20B of the
Graphics Arts Litetrnationl
Union, will represent Detroit
at a tribute dinner for Ken-
neth J. Brown, international
president, on behalf of Israel
Bonds, Thursday at the
Shoreham Hotel in Washing-
ton, D. C.
Brown will receive the
Prime Minister's Medal at
the dinner.
Born in Toronto, Brown
was elected president of the
Toronto Local Union of the'
Lithographers Union in 1955,
and later was elected to the
International Council of Lith-
ographers Union.
He was instrumental in or-
ganizing meetings between
the Printing Industries of
America-Union Employers of
America and union leaders to
examine problems of mutual
interest and common concern
to the industry.

Brown also is co-chairman
of the Graphic Arts Interna-
tional Union Supplemental
Retirement and Disability
Fund which provides for re-
tirement from the industry
at age 60.

Center Group Sets
December Musicals

Jewish Community Center
Social Club will have four
musical programs in Decem-
ber. All events start 1:30 at
the 10 Mile Branch.
The programs include:
Mollie Weisberg, Yiddish folk
singer, accompanied by pian-
ist Miriam Zacks, Wednes-
day; Mark Goldenberg gui-
tarist, will perform Yiddish,
Israeli and American folk
songs, Dec. 11; Ruth Gold-
man, soprano. accompanied
by pianist Miriam Zacks,
Dec. 18; and Marilyn Som-
mer, member of the Detroit
Opera Company chorus, will
present operatic and folk
song selections, Dec, 25.
The senior adult commun-
ity is invited. Refreshments,
