the well of Christian-Jewish
relations in this country," re-
marked Rabbi Balfour Brick-
ner, director of UAHC's de-
partment on inter-religious
affairs, "and we now have
to purify the water."
Rabbi Brickner said he be-
liev. ed that "the subject of
Israel has now become the
most divisive subject separ-
ating Jews and Christians in
the country."

Israel's economy and further
her political isolation.
Olmert said Israel- would

of the Arabs if the U.S. does
not continue its strong sup-
port. "If the United . States
will tell the Arabs that it will
never desert Israel, that Is-
