of the Knesset, will speak at
a luncheon meeting of De-
troit's Interfaith Action Coun-
cil Tuesday, about the cur-
rent state of Arab-Israeli re-
lations in Israel and the
Middle East.
Ulmart is a member of Is-
rael's Likud party, currently
in opposition to the' coalition
government headed by Prime
Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
His visit to Detroit, under
the auspices of the Jewish
Community Council, is part
of a tour of major American
cities sponsored by the Is-
raeli government. The tour

Institute scientists are de-
veloping materials which
may be used for the storage
of holographically recorded
information in future com-
puters.
This is only one of the
fields where the principles of
holography, the area of opti-
cal research usually asso-
ciated only with three-
dimensional, lens-less photog-
raphy, are being applied by
researchers to diverse prob-
lems in the computer sci-
ences, industrial testing and
medicine.
