The- -protest, part of a nation-wide action, is em- bodied in the text -of a letter be presented to Grace el, president of the Mich- United Nations Associa- tion. Grossman, „president of the Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan Detroit; Dr. Theodore Mandell, chairman of the council's committee on international, concerns; and Betty Beinstock, president of the Detroit Zionist Federa- tion—will be forwarded to UN headquarters in New York City, and registered as a formal protest against the General Assembly's action with the president of that body. Preceding presentations of the letter of protest, repre- sentatives' of metropolitan Detroit's church and labor leadership will address the gathering and express their concern about the precedent created by the UN invitation to an unelected, unrepresen- tative and undemocratic ter- rorist band.
