Primrose Women Prepare Donor

Federation Women Plan 28th Institute

"What Are You Doing the
Rest of Your Life?" is the
question the women's divi-
sion of the Jewish Welfare
Federation will ponder at its
28th annual institute, a day-
long educational event open
to all women, Nov. 20 at the
main Jewish Center.
The agenda includes five
concurrent morning work-
shops and an afternoon ad-
dress by Gaynor I. Jacobson,
executive vice president, Uni-
ted HIAS Service. The HIAS
agency aids Jewish immi-
grants settling in countries
other than Israel.
"Problems of Soviet Jewry
. . USSR, Israel, Detroit"
will be discussed by Zvi Git-
elman, associate professor of
political science at the .Uni-
versity of Michigan, and Lor-
raine Lerner, Jewish Family
and Children's Service case-
worker.
"Current Legislation As It-
Affects the Lives of Jews" is
the topic of Lewis S. Gross-
man, president of the Jewish
Community Council of Met-
ropolitan Detroit, and Kath-
leen Straus, president of the
Detroit chapter of the Ameri-
can Jewish Committee.

are preparing for the club's annual donor luncheon to be
held noon Tuesday at the Raleigh house. Mrs. Meyer
Nitzkin, president, announces Mrs. Manuel Neiman, past
president, will deliver the invocation and Mrs. Vivian
Beresh, accompanied by Mrs. Bess Gruskin, will sing "The
Star Spangled Banner" and "Hatikva". Hostesses are

`Third Temple' in Grand Rapids

A multi-media production
of "The Third Temple" will
be shown in Grand Rapids
8 p.m. Saturday in Kentwood
High School auditorium.
The past, present and fu-
ture of Israel is portrayed in
the multiple-projector, stereo
music production originally
produced by the Bible So-
ciety.

New York biblical scholars
Frank Shallieu and August
Tornquist will give a live
narration of the program.
"The Third Temple" had
its inaugural showing in De-
troit at Bnai David three
years ago. A year later it
was sonsored by the Zionist
Organization of Detroit, and
was also shown at' the YMCA
in Jerusalem.
