Chautauqua Endows
102 Judaism Classes

NEW YORK (JTA) - The
Jewish Chautauqua Society
has announced it has en-
dowed 102 resident lecture-
ships, college-level courses
in Judaism, for the 1974-75
academic year.
Society officials said the
endowments brought to 163
the total number of such
courses, a number of which
are being continued by the
colleges under their own
funding. The officials added
that the 163 courses represent
more than half of college Ju-
daism courses. They said 17
new courses had been started
ear.
