t THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Friday, October 25, 1974-13 atm extJa, it from MAX M. FISHER Dear Friends, For the past few years the American Jewish Community has been urged_ to re- organize domestic priorities toward more intensive Jewish Education. Many Positive steps in this direction were undertaken during my administration as President of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Boards. It is, therefore, with justifiable pride that I greet the AKIVA HEBREW DAY SCHOOL on its Tenth Anniversary and extend congratulations to all who are connected with this school for the excellent educational program developed in our community. Detroit is honored by the recognition being given to the school in receiving the SPIRITUAL BRIDGES AWARD by the Torah Education and Culture Department of the World Zionist Organization. The pre- sentation will be made to Akiva by the Hon . Abba Eban, former Foreign Minister of the State of Israel. . I invite the Greater Detroit Jewish Community to join me at the Akiva Hebrew Day School Anniversary Dinner on Thursday, October 31, at the Beth Achim Banquet Hall, 21100 West 12 Mile Road, Southfield.
