come dinner in Brasilia, and
during his press conference.
Attacking "international
Zionism," Saqaaf said that
the Arab countries cannot
reach a high level of devel-
opment because of the "Jew-
ish racist Zionism" and that
after, "occupying an entire
country" Israel "turns
against her neighbor Arab
countries in an attempt to
dominate them also."
Saqaaf was the guest of
President Ernesto Geisel in
Brasilia for Independence
Day celebrations. This is the
minister's second visit in 12
months to Brazil.

Archives of American Art
will hold a benefit garage
sale 10 a.m. -'5 p.m. Sept.
21 - 22 at the Downtown Gar-
age South and Jim's Garage
Saloon and Restaurant.
The sale includes more
than 500,000 items with many
antiques dating to 1850. Bou-
tique and select pieces will
be sold in the collector's cor-
ner of the restaurant and the
rest will be on sale in the
garage structure.
Among the garage sale
committee are Mrs. Irving
Burton, general co-chairman;
Mrs. Charles Kessler, and
Mrs. Seymour Karbal, corre-
spondence; and Mrs. M. Mor-
ton Barak, evaluation - ac-
knowledgement.
Donations may be dropped
off at the archives office in
the Detroit Institute of Arts.

The ArchiVes of American
Art is a nonprofit national
organization affiliated with
the Smithsonian Institution.
Its purpose is to collect, re-
cord and make available to
scholars original documents
and materials on American
art and crafts.
