Prof. Meister is a noted scholar and linguist, being fluent in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French, German and Italian. He has taught and lectured on medieval and Brevities to View modern European history and comparative Judaeo-Christian theology in universities and seminaries throughout t h e United States. He has studied in Israel, England and the United States, and in Israeli rabbinical seminaries and yeshivot. During his youth, he partic- ipated in the Betar Movement founded by Vladimir Jabotin- sky.
